Dorothy Marie (Cowhy) Brady Dec 18, 1927 – Sep 24, 2015 She was an animal lover with a strong preference for DOGS! She loved her family and friends and was always up for dancing with Jack or a party with friends in whatever form. She and Jack loved inviting anyone and everyone into their home. She was gracious and fun-loving, the heart of the family. She and an older sister, Patricia Cowhy, were born to Herman and Marcella Cowhy in Detroit, Michigan. She is now united with her entire biological family. She married John Richard Brady in 1952. We cherish our memories of her. She is missed terribly by her loving husband, Jack; daughter, Marie Brady de Martinez and fiancé, Mike Gloor; sons: Chuck Brady and wife Sue, Jim Brady and wife Nancy, Dan Brady and wife Christina, and Rick Brady; grandchildren: Molly, John (Janelle), Karen (Aaron Vader), Jennifer and Meghan Brady, Alexander and Mitchell Martinez (Lindsey), Melanie (Tim), Matthew (Kari), Joanna, Garrett and Rachel Sehr and their families, and extended family and friends; six great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by granddaughter, Carlyn Brady Martinez, and son-in-law, Homero Martinez. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 27th, from 6pm to 8pm, with VIGIL SERVICE at 8pm, all at the West Center Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Monday, September 28th at 10am at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. Interment, Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St Leo/St. Pius X Parishes or Hearts United for Animals, P. O. Box 286, Auburn, NE 68305 (a no-kill animal rescue shelter).
