Brandale Jon’Carl Jones

July 27, 2007 – February 7, 2024

Brandale Jon’Carl Jones was born on July 27, 2007, to Ashley M. Starks and Christopher L. Buck, weighing 1 lb. 6.4 ounces at University Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.

After spending three months in the NICU, he went home to spend time with his mother, grandmother and Uncle Benjamin (BJ).

When he was 8 months old, he suffered a cardiac arrest which led to multiple health issues.  Even though he was confined to a wheelchair, he attended Hartman Elementary.  He later attended J. P. Lord school, until his health issues started to take over.

Brandale was baptized at Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church.

On October 2, 2023, Brandale had surgery to correct his curved spine.  Since that time, he experienced increased health issues that required extended hospital stays.

On February 7, 2024 at 10 a.m., Brandale gained his wings into eternal life.

Brandale is preceded in death by his grandparents, William Carl, Sr. and Aretha Jones; uncle, William (Billy) Carl, Jones, Jr.; cousins, Carlton (Shane) Jones and Dana Jones.

He leaves warm and loving memories to be cherished by his mother, Ashely M. Starks; father, Christopher L. Buck; brother, J’Marrion; grandmother, Lisa M. Jones; uncle, Benjamin Starks; cousin, Rilley Jones; and great aunts, great uncle, aunts, uncle, a host of cousins and family friends.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday, February 16, 2024, 11 a.m., at West Center Chapel, 7805 W. Center Rd., followed by REPAST at Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church, 2842 Monroe St.
