Brock Steven Booker
April 4, 1989 – June 24, 2024
Brock Steven Booker beloved father, son, brother, uncle and friend passed away unexpectedly June 24, 2024 at age thirty five. Brock, the son of Cheryl Booker (Morton) and Steve Booker was born in Carrollton, Texas, and grew up in TX, CA (northern and southern) and spent his adult life in Omaha. Brock graduated from Elkhorn High School in 2007, received his business degree from University of Nebraska Omaha in 2017, and went on to create a number of construction businesses. He was a true entrepreneur and current co-President of SBC Inc., a home remodeling and roofing business.
Brock and Leslie Booker welcomed Berkeley Rae and Brielle Victoria into the family on July 27, 2017. Nothing gave Brock more joy, love, comfort or pride than his twin girls “curlies”. He and Leslie “Queen” were great co-parents and Brock was an amazing father always ready to play and laugh. Brielle “Jailmer”, and Berkeley “Chickasaw” loved golf cart rides, movies, UNO hockey, cuddles, rock climbing, putt putt golf and a variety of other spontaneous and fun adventures with their loving daddy.
Brock was generous in spirit and in deed. He would give his last $5 to someone with no home. He assisted stranded motorists, installed holiday lights on neighbors houses, and was always there to lend a helping hand. Brock was gregarious and funny. He would talk to anyone (in a variety of broken languages) connecting people quickly and nick naming the people he loved the most (see a few examples included throughout). He was high energy and a great athlete. He competed in tennis, was a top finisher in numerous 5K/10Ks, sprint triathlons and completed both a half and full Iron Man in 2015. He loved mountain biking, snowboarding, dirt bikes, sky diving any activity that made your heart race.
If Brock were here he would ask “What’s your happy/crappy?” Reminding us to celebrate daily accomplishments, recognize challenges and share with those you love.
Brock is survived by his parents: Cheryl Booker, Steve and Katrina Booker; brother, Brandon “Rosie” and Nora Booker and their children, Opal “Urch” and Ford; brother, Isaiah Becker and Taylor Nagy; brother, Brett “Chunker Deeters” Booker; sister, Brogan and Jay Solaris; grandparents: Ora Lou Booker, Doris Morton, Mark and Raylene West.
Brock will be forever missed and joins beloved grandfathers, Ron Morton and Vern Booker.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, July 12, 2024 at City Light Church, 3401 Oak View Dr. with a celebration of life gathering after to share stories about Brock and record them for his daughters. Food and beverages will be provided.
Interment of ashes will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery.
Brock’s love will live on in his family as he is remembered, as stories are told and as his memory becomes a blessing.

Sending you all positive thoughts & prayers to you all.
I’m so sorry for your loss!! Brock was a student of mine in the summer of 2017 at UNO. He showed me pictures of his twin girls. He was so proud!! Brick was so determined and very smart. He called me coach instead of professor. I always enjoyed talking to him. May he rest in peace.
I loved seeing Brock with the girls. It was always clear how much they love him and how much he adored them. My heart is broken for them. Thinking of you all. Prayers for comfort.
