Brooke A. Kelly
July 26, 1995 – July 1, 2021 (25 years old)
Brooke Ashley Kelly was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. At a young age, Brooke was diagnosed with Autism and was supported by her family ever since. After graduating from the Brook Valley School, she spent the rest of her time at Valiant Studios, a program through RHD (Resources for Human Development). There she was able to express herself through various artwork while having time to hang out with her friends there.
Brooke was a water baby through and through. Some of her best memories were going to Oak Hill Pool, to Woodcliff Lake, and most of all, in her dad’s backyard where she was able to lay in the water as she listened to Disney music. Brooke was a Disney fanatic as she would spend hours on YouTube watching various clips from all the Disney animated films. She would then either quote certain lines to her family and friends or start singing some of her favorite songs, mainly from the Disney princess movies.
Brooke knew she was loved and was able to spread joy to whomever she encountered in life. She had a wonderful sense of humor as she would pick up on social cues. Her final years were full of laughs and unconditional love.
Brooke is survived by father, Steve Kelly; stepmother, Carol Ryan; mother, Lisa Ramsey; stepfather, Jonathan Ramsey; sister, Nikki Kahler; brothers: Josh Kelly, Mitch Ryan, Logan Gofta; grandmother, Carolyn Kelly grandfather, Gerald Urlaub.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE VISITATION: Tuesday, July 6th from 6pm to 8pm at the West Center Chapel.
