Preceded in death by parents, Glen and Frances. Survived by wife, Pam; son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and April; sister, Joyce Magee (Wayland); brothers, Steve (Sonja), Frank, and Dan; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Betty Hogenson; sister-in-law, Paula Hogenson; his loving Candlewood Dental Family, Kim Kruse, Richelle Miller and Duniee Nielson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, patients, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 16th, from 4-6PM at West Center Chapel. MEMORIAL SERVICE: Monday, September 17th at 10AM, Countryside Community Church (8787 Pacific Street). Memorials are suggested to Countryside Community Church or Lutheran Family Services At Ease Program.

So sorry for your loss. Bruce was a great man. I enjoyed visiting with him when I took my mom Myrldean to see him. I also remeber many fun times on the farm growing up!
I’m so sorry to hear the news of Bruce’s passing. He was a great guy. I knew him in high school and, later in 2000, when we moved back to Omaha from Chicago, he became our dentist He was a great dentist, always taking good care of us. He will be missed.

Bruce was a great person and very loving, giving, compassionate and sincere. Our Society has suffered a great loss but his legacy will remain forever. He touched our world and made it a better place. Pam, my thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am heartbroken about Dr. Govier. I had been seeing him for 23 years and him and the staff were friends. My prayers go out to his family and staff. He was loving and friendly and will be missed.

We saw this in the paper and were so saddened. Dr. Govier had just seen Jana on Tuesday and was his usual self. I could not have found a better man to work on Jana’s teeth for all these years. He loved her and cared for her like she was family. May God grant peace to the family and those who worked with him. He will surely be missed!
Dr. Govier was my dentist for many years. He was a great dentist and a wonderful guy. My condolences to his family and to the girls in the office. Visiting there was like visiting friends.
