CHASTAIN, Claude Richard, Dick, Mar. 20, 1923 Jan. 15, 2012. Age 88; Omaha. Passed away at Hospice House following a courageous battle with cancer. Born near Elliott, Iowa to the late Claude and Mary (Johnson) Chastain. Proudly served his country as a B-17 pilot in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Founded Chastain (now Chastain-Otis) Insurance Agency in 1953. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Keith and Byron. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Mary Lou (Kluck) Chastain; son, David Chastain and wife Sue; daughter, Dian Rizzo and husband Bill; daughter Debra Nickels; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Bob Chastain and wife Bonnie. VISITATION at the West Center Chapel begins Tuesday at 3 p.m. with family receiving guests from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. MEMORIAL SERVICE Wednesday, 12:00noon, Pacific Hills Lutheran Church, 1110 S. 90th Street. Private interment, Evergreen Memorial Park with military rites by American Legion Post 331. Memorials are suggested to Nebraska Humane Society or Pacific Hills Lutheran Church.
