I am so sorry for you all, Cari was an amazing person, colleague, MOM and a friend to me for about 10 years. I met her thru working at AMEX. I have kept in touch with Cari and we talked about 2 weeks ago. SHE So loved her family was so proud of them and ALWAYS we would talk about THEM. She was so strong and had such faith…I so admired her. Please know how sorry I am and that the loss of Cari is so sad for me too. I send you my prayers and am here for you for sure. Aaiyla would remember me, as my daughter in law Nicole has done her hair on special occasions. TAKE CARE and GOD BLESS!

The best words I can give would be Cari chose to love me even when she didn’t have to. I was lucky enough to have her as my second mother! I will always love and miss her dearly. Heaven gained a very beautiful soul.

You were the best mom anyone could ever ask for. You gave me everything I ever needed and more. You never left my side and I never left yours. I couldn’t put into a million words how much I love you and thank you for all you did for me. You are truly the definition of a warrior and a fighter. I love you mom.

    – Love, your son

My heart aches for Judi – Cari’s mother. There are no words that can express the heartache of losing a child. I am praying for healing for the entire family. Although I knew Cari mostly through her mom I had the opportunity of meeting her and following her journey as she fought the battle against her illness. She fought hard and seemed to always be there for her loved ones no matter what. Strength, faith and love….That is what I will remember about Cari! God Bless the family… Ruth H.
