I met Burgdorf because he was in the same platoon as me at DLI. I will never forget his hard-working attitude, sensible thinking, or unique sense of humor. He was passionate about doing well at whatever the Marine Corps threw at him, and that too I won’t forget. He will be missed.
I am sorry that you are hurting but know that our hope and peace is in the Lord. Praying for you and your family.
My heart and prayers go out to you at this time. May the God of all peace comfort you at this time.
I’m so very sorry for your loss! I wish there were words that could take away the pain. Please know your family is in my thoughts and prayers!!
My sincerest condolences and prayers are with your family.
Even if we weren’t close, knowing we lost a family member is heartbreaking and gut wrenching. My heart goes out to my Aunt and Uncle and his siblings. I pray for peace and comfort to all those that have been affected.
LCpl Burgdorf was an outstanding Marine. As one of the NCOs for the Joint Service Color Guard at DLI I got to see his commitment to getting the job done. His absence is noticable and he will be missed. Til valhallah
Continually in prayer for strength and inner healing. Much love to you and your family
While I wasn’t close to Carl, I knew he was a great person. The world is a dimmer place without his light.
Although I didn’t meet Carl, I know and have deep respect for his father. It’s clear to me, from what I learned about Carl since, that he was the kind of person we need more of in this world. I’m so sorry for your loss.
My most sincere condolences to all of you during this difficult. I have no words… May God bless you and keep you. May He make His face to shine upon you.
May he find peace.
My deepest sympathy to you and your family
