Our dear mother passed away peacefully on July 4, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward W. Larsen; sister, Regina Schnitker. Mom was born in Omaha on October 12, 1925. She attended St. Johns grade school and high school. She worked at Grain Dealers, where she met her husband, Ed. They celebrated many years of marriage until his passing in 2016. Mom was a loving mother and homemaker. She loved her family, faith, and friends. She volunteered at the Bergan Mercy gift shop for over 25 years and was quite active in American Legion Post #1. In between time she managed to fit in a couple of casino runs. Later in life she moved to Sunridge Village where she met many good friends. She was a best friend to all her kids and grandkids, the dependable voice, our guiding light, our compass. She was so loved and will be severely missed.

1 Condolence
God bless you all. Carm was like a mother to me. We are blessed to have her for so long. As a kid, l would ask her how old she was, her reply was the same, “twenty-one”. I believed it, as she lived it, She never aged.
