Carmen Irene “Carm” Clark
July 23, 1945 – March 8, 2022
Carmen “Carm” Walsh was born in Clarion, Iowa, the youngest of two daughters. She attended Northwest Missouri State University. Carm married Jim Clark in 1970 and has lived in Omaha, Nebraska since that time. During her working career, she held Administrative Assistant positions at WOWT-TV, Creighton Prep, and Make-a-Wish.
Carm was preceded in death by husband, Jim; parents, Gerald and Ethel Walsh; two nephews, Kyle Clark and Douglas Memler. Survived by sister, Dianne Memler of Naperville, Illinois; niece, Christine Memler; honorary daughter, Barbie Schultz; honorary family: Emily Schultz; Jimmy Schultz; Ollie Schultz; Gary Golden; nephews: Jay, Colin, and Kevin Clark, Patrick and Jonathon Trizila.
At Carm’s request, her body has been donated to the Nebraska Anatomical Society in the hope of helping to further medical research.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE: Saturday, March 19th, 11am at West Center Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Carm’s honor are suggested to Nebraska Stroke Association or Hospice.
