Carol Ann Bluvas was born in Omaha, Nebraska on April 22, 1944 to Al and Elinore Kerdikes.  An only child, Carol attended Ss. Peter & Paul Elementary School and went on to be a member of the first graduating class of Archbishop Ryan High School in 1962.

Carol married the love of her life, William Bluvas, on February 19, 1966. They welcomed three sons to make their family complete.  Michael was born in 1967, Patrick in 1969, and Christopher in 1975.  Carol and Bill celebrated 52 years of marriage.  From their love, Carol’s family grew to include twelve grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Carol loved to spend time with her grandchildren and attend their activities.  She was a member of a Bible study group that spanned over four decades.  Carol traveled the world with Bill and cherished friends and family.

Carol was a prolific painter of wood crafts.  She enjoyed word searches and crossword puzzles and has passed this on to her grandchildren.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Al and Elinore Kerdikes, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Ann Bluvas; son, Patrick Bluvas; and granddaughter, Madeline Bluvas.

Carol is survived by her loving husband, William Bluvas; sons, Michael (Connie) and Christopher (Julie); and daughter-in-law, Tiffany.  She is also survived by 11 grandchildren: Zachary, Alexandria, Caitlyn, Caleb, Michaela, Abigail, Nathan, Joseph, Colby, William, and Seth Bluvas and one great-granddaughter, Hazel Bluvas; many friends, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Carol was one of my best friends in grade school. I spent a lot of time at her house. Her mom was such a fun person. Bill, take care

My thoughts and prayers are with the Bluvas family at this time. Carol was a wonderful lady and was always very kind to me. I know she will be missed.
