LINDSAY, Carol J. (Miner) Aug 27, 1933 – Feb 15, 2014 Age 80, of Omaha. Preceded in death by husband, John Paul Lindsay; parents, Belva and Earl Miner of Tekamah; sister, Donna Ayer of Ralston. Survived by children: Steve (Kelly) Lindsay of Leander, Texas, Leesa (Harry) Johnson of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Allan (Kathy) Lindsay of LaVista, Nebraska; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Carol grew up in Laurel, Nebraska and Decatur, Nebraska before joining the Air Force in 1952 and working at the Pentagon in Washington, DC. In 1953, she married John P. Lindsay who was also enlisted in the Air Force. They spent many years traveling the world with the Air Force before settling in Omaha in 1970. In 1983, she moved to Austin, Texas and began a career as a Prudential Insurance agent. She loved conversation, golf, camping, fishing, cards and reading. PRIVATE SERVICES will be held at a later date.
