Carolanne Callahan

August 3, 1943 – August 23, 2020

Carolanne was born in St. Paul, NE and raised in Omaha.  She attended Holy Cross Grade School and Mercy High School.  At the age of 40, she returned to school and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a BA in English and sociology.  Carolanne had an adventurous and curious spirit.  She lived a full life filled with family, good friends and enjoyed many bike rides, hikes, movies, travels in person and through her love of reading.  She was passionate about learning, politics, spirituality and social justice issues. And, Carolanne loved a good celebration with family and friends, especially her birthday!

Preceded in death by her mother, Lorraine E. Callahan; and father, Edward B. Callahan.  Survived by daughter Anne Savery, her husband Mark and other loving family and dear friends.
