Carolyn “Louise” Adams, age 95
October 27, 1927 – May 21, 2023
Known to the family as Louise, she was an avid reader, photographer, traveler, historian, crafter, known for her sewing, knitting and crochet skills. She was a doll collector and loved jewelry and ceramics.
Louise retired from the phone company after 25 years of service.
She was born in Dunlap, Iowa and the oldest of one sister and two brothers. She taught school in Dunlap after graduation and then moved to Omaha for a phone company job that later transferred her to Chicago for many years but brought her back to Omaha for the remainder of her life. She was always active with her nieces and nephews and photographing all events.
She is survived by her brother, Richard (Sheryl); sister-in-law, Connie; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation begins Wednesday, May 31, 2023, 10:00AM at West Center Chapel with Funeral Services at 11:00AM.
Private Interment.
Memorials will be directed by the family.
