Preceded in death by husband, Anthony J. Deane. Survived by children: Patrick Deane (Carrie), Mary Deane, Norah Hanlon (Ed), Ann Glowen (Ron), and Anthony E. Deane (Debora); nine grandchildren: Brian, Colleen, Katie, Bridget, Allison, Eddie, Ashley, Tommy, and Catherine; four great-grandchildren: Allison, Aria, Lillian, and Isaac.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Jan. 2nd from 5pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel, followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL on Wednesday, Jan. 3rd at 10:30am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 114th & Fort Sts. Interment, Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale, NY. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association, ENOA (Eastern Neb. Office on Aging), or St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.

Although I only met her very briefly, I knew Catherine through three of her daughters, and I can say that she has a strong, wonderful legacy. The legacy of her children and grandchildren. Her life continues in them.
