Dr Z. will always have a special place in my heart. She was part of the Renal Transplant team at Clarkson Hospital prior to beginning transplants at Creighton/ St. Joe’s. Always kind and compassionate. I am so sorry to hear that she has passed, but know her legacy will live on in those whose lives she touched. May she rest in peace. Condolences to the family and Dorothy.

Doctor Zielinski was a very special lady to our family. She did my 2 sisters and my brother kidney transplant. We always knew that our loved ones were in good hands when she was performing surgery. She came to Creighton Nebraska to give my brother Cory and my sister Trisha their high school diploma.
One thing that will always remain with me is, when Doctor Zielinski came to tell our family with tears in her eyes that she did everything she could to save Trisha’s life but there was nothing more she could do. She said that’s one of the hardest things to do as a doctor when you have to tell the family that their loved one isn’t going to make it. Thanks for the memories, you will be deeply missed. RIP DOCTOR ZIELINSKI

Dr. Z was such a wonderful example and lady, Remembering her in the Dept of Surgery as the compassionate doctor that called me at home with biopsy results so I wouldn’t worry all weekend. So many good memories working with her and visiting her home for a girls night and to see her dogs and horses. Loving thoughts to her family.

I worked in the Dept. Of Surgery / Cardiology until 1986 when I moved to Hawaii. Dr. Z was always so sweet and very special. She had some of us to her farm where we got to spend time with her horses. God Bless her and her family. She has certainly earned her angel wings. 🙏👼
