Charles A. Harmon

December 24, 1965 – March 24, 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Charles Allen Harmon, known affectionately as Chuck, who left us on March 24, 2025, at the age of 59. Born on December 24, 1965, in Omaha, Nebraska, Chuck spent his life deeply rooted in the community he loved, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know him.

Chuck was the beloved son of George and Nancy Harmon, both of whom preceded him in death, along with his sister, Patricia Moore and brother, Thomas Harmon. He is survived by his devoted wife, Kimberly Harmon, who stood by his side through thick and thin, and his loving mother-in-law, Rosemary Mayne. He is also survived by his cherished siblings, Susie Ott (Steve) and Adrienne Phelps (Dan), as well as his brothers-in-law, Rick Mayne and Wayne Moore.

A proud father, Chuck is survived by his daughter, Ashley Mayne(Jon) and son, Devin Mayne(Tasha), who brought him immeasurable joy. He was a doting grandfather to Cecilia Mayne and Aden Komor, who were the lights of his life. Chuck also leaves behind a multitude of nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss his warm smile and kind heart.

Chuck’s educational journey took him through Omaha’s Burke High School, where he graduated in 1984. He was an athlete, known for his passion for football, which was a testament to his team spirit and dedication. Following his studies, Chuck embarked on a fulfilling career as a carpenter, where his hard work and reliability stood out. He was renowned for his unwavering work ethic and was someone who never complained about any task at hand. His colleagues and friends knew they could always count on him, a true testament to his character.

Chuck had a zest for life that extended beyond his work. He loved the simple pleasures, including his cherished naps and the thrill of watching cars make a hundred left turns. A man of nature, Chuck enjoyed fishing and hunting, often finding peace and tranquility in the great outdoors. These hobbies not only brought him joy, but they also allowed him to create lasting memories with family and friends.

The loss of Chuck will be felt profoundly by all who knew him. His kindness, generosity, and willingness to lend a helping hand touched countless lives. Whether he was sharing a laugh or offering support in times of need, Chuck had a unique ability to uplift those around him.

As we gather to celebrate his life, we remember Chuck not only for his hard work and dedication but for the love and joy he brought into our lives. Chuck will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched. His legacy of kindness and strength will serve as a reminder to us all of the impact one person can have on the lives of many.

Rest in peace, dear Chuck. Your life was a gift, and you will forever be remembered with love.
