Charles “Charlie” L Rennolet, Sr.

Charlie was born in Kansas City, MO. His family moved to Omaha when he was young. He graduated from Tech High School in 1945, entered the U.S. Army in 1946, was stationed in Japan during the WWII era, and was honorably discharged. He studied business administration at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He worked for his father for several years until starting his own business, ABC Auto Supply, at 4308 L Street, in October of 1964 and ran that business successfully until 1982. After retiring, he enjoyed working on antique cars and traveling.

Charlie married Mary P. Lindsay on November 8, 1952, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Charlie was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, and son, Charles, Jr. He is survived by his son, Don Rennolet; daughter, Sandra Hulon; son, Ron Rennolet; daughter, Cheryl Flowers; son-in-law, Greg Hulon; daughter-in-law, Lisa Rennolet; son-in-law, Steve Flowers; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
