Charles Lindmier

LINDMIER, Charles, Nov 15, 1924 – Aug 19, 2009. A lifelong resident of Omaha passed away peacefully surrounded by his family after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife Beverly; son, Duane Lindmier and wife Christine Alexander Evergreen CO; daughters, Vicki Palumbo and husband Nick, Cave Creek AZ, Joni Kasparek and husband Ed, Naperville, IL; grandchildren, Christine Lindmier, Kyle and Jessica Kasparek. Charlie was a decorated veteran of World War II where he served in the Army Air Corps. He later worked at Northwestern Bell for 37 years before retiring. VIGIL SERVICE Friday, 7pm West Center Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Saturday 9:30am, St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. Interment, Calvary Cemetery with military rites by Benson V.F.W Post 2503. VISITATION begins Friday, 4:00 p.m. at the mortuary.

    Charlie was my boss at the phone co. for many years and a great guy. My best to his family.
