Charlotte Mae (Kluson) O’Brien was proceeded in death by husband, James R.; parents, Joseph and Harriett Kluson; sister, Dorothy Schab; daughter, Jeanine; grandson, Cameron J. She is survived by sons, James J. (Susan) and Patrick (Brenda Reese); daughters, Colleen Ahlers (Bryan) and Kathleen Klaas (Mark); grandchildren: Jamie Jacobs (Jason), Megan and Paige Ahlers, Brendan and Connor O’Brien (Jamie), Kelyn Levy Klaas(Andrew); Alex Klaas; great-grandchildren: Landon, McKenna and Harper Jacobs, Elliot and Zyla Levy, Demetri and Vivian Duncan, Cameron O. O’Brien.
Charlotte Mae was born and raised in Omaha and remained a life-long resident. She graduated South High school and worked at Woodmen of the World and Nebraska Furniture Mart.
She enjoyed baking, traveling and volunteering. She was a huge sports fan and the Huskers were her favorite.
She was a compassionate caregiver for her daughter, Jeanine, as well as her husband, Jim, during their time of need.
Both Charlotte and Jim were founding parishioners of Mary Our Queen.
Charlotte raised 5 children which led to 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Thursday, August 25,2022, 10:00 a.m. Mary Our Queen Catholic Church, 3405 S. 118th Street. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: 11:00 a.m. Interment: Calvary Cemetery, 7710 West Center Road. Lunch will be served at Mary Our Queen Catholic Church following the burial. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Mary Our Queen Catholic Church.

O’Brien family, sorry for your loss. Aunt charlotte lived a long life. May your memories be fond as you celebrate her life these coming days.
