Cole – we only met briefly but I met your mom almost two years ago. Cherrie was always so kind to me and the rest of her neighbors. We will miss her greatly. Wishing you peace and love during this difficult time.

Cherrie, I want to thank you for the opportunity to spend so many years of my life doing what I love. You were so supportive, complimentary, encouraging, honest and strong. You were an incredible boss who showed endless adoration and appreciation for her employees, and a mentor who saw no limits to what I could do. You always made me feel so proud. You had a way of making me feel so special and I always waited with nerves and excitement for you to see my work and let me know what you thought. To say you would gush over me would be an understatement, and always made me want to push to do better next time. You believed in women and in never holding back a compliment. You changed the lives of so many people. You will be so very missed. My love and strength to Season, Adam, Colt and all of your family.

I am so sorry to hear of Cherrie’s passing. My daughters, Nicolette and Ashley, had so many wonderful experiences through dance with Season, Lori, and all the other staff under Cherrie’s direction and leadership. She positively impacted so many young dancer’s lives through the years. My sympathies to her family and the entire Cherrie Anderson dance family.

I am so sorry to hear of Cherrie’s passing. She quite literally had the single greatest influence over my life outside of family. Throughout my time as her student she not only grew my lifelong love of dance but gave me life long skills of confidence, hard work, tenacity and grace. She could make you work so hard without tearing you down. As a boss she gave me the space to grow as a teacher but guided best practices. I am grateful for the beautiful memories, friendships, & lifelong skills I received. She was my teacher, my boss, a surrogate parent, mentor, & friend. Her legacy carries on in all of her students & is being passed through those we we teach & meet along the way today. Sending all of my love to Season, Adam, Colt, their families, & all of the incredible women whose life she so deeply touched as she did mine.

    Season and family
Our family is so sorry to hear of Cherrie passing. All of my daughters, Mary, Becky, Carrie and Debbie took dance from you, Season under your mom’s direction, for many years in Papillion. Mary ended up helping to teach in Bellevue and off of Maple for a year or two.
I know they all enjoyed and benefited from the experience.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

As the Lighting Tech at the Omaha Music Hall and Union Stagehand I was privileged to work beside Cherrie and the Anderson family many times over the years, her dedication and professionalism to dance and her students was always center stage. A wonderful dancer in her own right I illuminated the stage so that she could light it with dance. The Music Hall is gone but dance will live on, my son Joe, President of our Local, now lights the stage for Season. Last night at our monthly meeting we took a moment to remember Cherrie and the impact she had on entertainment in Omaha. Our deepest sympathy and condolences go out to the Anderson Family and the CA Dance Family as well.
