Chester E. “Skip” Kemmerle, Jr.
December 5, 1958 – February 10, 2024
Skip was born in Omaha, Nebraska, on December 5, 1958. He was the first of four children, and the only son born to Chester and Joyce Kemmerle. Skip passed away on February 10, 2024, in Omaha, Nebraska.
Skip was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend to so many. Skip married his wife, Debra, on July 11, 1987, in Omaha, Nebraska. Skip and Deb had their only child, Adam, in April 1989.
Skip started working for McNeil Company Builders in 1993 and was an integral part of their path to success. He made countless friends throughout his career in the construction industry.
Skip was preceded in death by his grandparents; and parents.
Skip is survived by his wife, Debra Kemmerle; son, Adam Kemmerle; sisters: Sue Hagenau (Eric), Cindi Peterson (Mark), and Becky Kemmerle; sisters-in-law: Sharon Allen (William), Dianna Palmer, Julie Karmer; niece; nephews; and loving friends.

Deb, I never met your husband, however with you as his wife I’m sure he was a wonderful and loving person. My prayers are with you and your family.

I was saddened to hear of Skip’s passing, I have many fond memories from childhood playing with him when his family lived in Ralston. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to his family and he is remembered fondly by this childhood friend. rest in peace Skip
