Cirina Jacobo

Cirina Jacobo

May 28, 1930 – November 29, 2021

On November 29, 2021, Cirina Jacobo, 91, co-owner and co-founder of Jacobo’s Grocery in Omaha, NE, passed away peacefully at home.

She was inspired and determined to provide a better life for her family by working alongside her husband, Ramon Jacobo, in starting the grocery store in 1976.  Her talent and hard work led to the continuing success of the business.  We are grateful to the store’s clientele for always holding her in the highest regards and making her always feel so special.  Her lovable personality and ability to communicate with everyone was always one of the strengths of our business.  She was also a very religious woman, always using her faith in guidance for her family and her business.  She was kind, thoughtful and discreetly helped people in need.  She was deeply loved and will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ramon.  She is survived by her four children: Jose (Donna), Carlos, Alfred and Martha; and her six grandchildren: Carlos Jr., Fernando, Emmanuel, Karla, Sarah and Daniela.

PRIVATE FAMILY INTERMENT: Resurrection Cemetery.

Thinking of your family. She is a great loss to the community she served and the many people who benefited from her charitable contributions. My condolences.
