February 10, 1932 – March 5, 2019
Preceded in death by wife, Sharon; grandson, Shaun Welch. Survived by wife, Barbara; children: Patrick (Lucy) Welch, Lori (Jack) Nelson, Karen (John) Kennedy, Michael (Michelle) Welch; stepchildren, Julie (Patrick) Alexander and Jeffrey (Deborah) Finken; thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandson; brothers, Merle and Lauren. Claude was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus.
FUNERAL MASS: Saturday, March 9th at 11am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 3122 S. 74th St. VISITATION begins Saturday at 10am at Church. Memorials are suggested to St. Joan of Arc Church or the American Cancer Society.

I’m so sorry to hear about Claude. He was always one of my favorite people, with a wonderful smile and a calmness about him. He was just a good person to be around.
I always admired Claude. He always had a smile to share and good things to say about everyone. He will be missed. Barb, we will keep all of you in our prayers.
We are so sorry to hear about Claude. Bob and I had so many fun years dancing with Barb and Claude at German American as well as in our home. He will be missed be many . God Bless.
