I loved this man who delivered our second child and was our family physician until 1980 when we moved. My husband and I met with him several times for coffee when we would return to Omaha.. Sunday morning I mentioned to my husband “I wonder how Dr. Baum is doing”. Yes Sunday morning. Heaven will be delighted to welcome this man. Gladys Collison

Dr. Baum took care of 4 generations in my family my grandfather (who he actually came to our house to take care of) my mother Helen Meehan and the us 3 girls the delivered all of our kids. He was such a man of God and showed the Lord’s love freely. I still remember those little baby feet he wore on his Dr. Coat to show what a 10 week old baby looks like before being born. Our world will not be the same without this sweet man but I have no doubt he is face to face with Jesus. My sympathy to the Baum family and what a blessing to have him 96 years!

Our thoughts and prayers are to the family at this time of loss. Dr. Baum delivered my siblings and I and was our family Dr for many years. I will always remember his laughter and kindness. He truly was one of the best Medical Doctors ever. He will be greatly missed.
    Sympathies to your family,
Rex Gruber, daughter Laraine and siblings
