Clinton Cole Brownlee
April 25, 1983 – May 26, 2022
Clinton (aka Red or Cole) was just 39 years old when he was shot in the chest in his own yard. Robbery was the cause of this needless act.
He is survived by his children, Bratlee and Cierra of Missouri; adopted brother, Lonnie Brownlee; birth parents, LeRoy Bovee and Lois (Wakefield) Bovee; sisters, Patty Mattly, Amanda Wakefield; brothers, Lee (Davelene) Wakefield, Ricky (Jennifer) Wakefield; adopted brother, Calvin Joe Wakefield; adopted sister, Laura Lee Wakefield; grandmother, Helen Bovee; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his adopted parents, Ruth (Bovee) and James Brownlee; grandparents, Patricia and Herb Lawrence, Raymond Brownlee; sister, Helen Lee Wakefield.
Clinton was and easy-going man who was loved and liked by many. He was always ready to help others in times of need and will be greatly missed.

Friends and neighbors since 2009 but our two households really became more like family so this is really alot heavier to deal with. Cool kids never die, they are eternal

This is a loss for us all.
I grew up with this family and have a lot of fun memories. They are really good people. My deepest sympathies go out to the family at this time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. ❤️ Much love

Me and Cole didn’t know each other but a short time. He had came up too me and asked if I was the one that worked on cars. Sense then we became good friends and I started working on his blue truck. We were supposed to start working on his dodge but never happened.. until we meet again rip my friend. You will be missed deeply
