Constance L. Schanzer

April 2, 1941 – April 29, 2025

Constance L. Schanzer peacefully passed away April 29, 2025, in Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 84. She was born in Omaha, April 2, 1941.

Constance was preceded in death by her parents, Emil Hembertt and Irma Gonzales; and many loved ones.

She is survived by her husband, Howard Schanzer; children: Edward Emery (Nicole), Chris Kielion (Larry), Donna Vogt, stepdaughter, Robin Schanzer (Gary); grandchildren, great-grandchildren; sister, Carmela Brooks; brother, Joe Gonzales; nieces, nephews and other family.

Constance, a self-made and educated women worked many years in the supplemental insurance business as office manager, ending her career in sales. She loved golfing and spent many years on the course with her husband and good friends. She was always ready to share her love of God and faith.

VIGIL: Friday, May 2, 2025, at 7:00 PM with VISITATION from 6:00-7:00 PM at the David “DJ” Sokol Memorial Chapel at Mount Michael Benedictine Abbey, 22520 Mount Michael Road, Elkhorn, NE 68022.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at the David “DJ” Sokol Memorial Chapel.

PRIVATE FAMILY INTERMENT
