Crickett (Florence) Shaw

Shaw, Crickett (Florence) Age 99 Crickett (Florence) Shaw loved the Lord with all her heart and joined him on August 5, 2012. She left a legacy of love and caring to all who knew her and she will be dearly missed. Crickett is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Floyd and Geraldine Stewart; daughter and son-in-law, Clara and Earl St. Pierre; son-in-law, Russell Hayward; 4 grandchildren, Vynette Hughes and her husband Scott, Ross Hayward, Cathy Jones, and Carl Jones; 10 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Vivian Hayward; 2 sisters; and 2 brothers. She was active in the Bellevue Free Methodist church where she taught Sunday school and raised money for missions. She had her own sewing shop for many years, and in retirement used her sewing skills to make teddy bears, lambs, and other stuffed animals. Many of her bears were donated to the Bellevue Volunteer rescue squad and to the congregation at the St James United Methodist church. Living life brought joy to Crickett. She was a lover of animals, nature and people. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 10:30am Saturday, August 11, 2012 at St. James United Methodist Church, 1501 Franklin St, Bellevue, NE.
