Cristine E. “Cris” Seyler
May 20, 1944 – July 10, 2024
Cristine Seyler, 80, of Manley, Nebraska, passed away on July 10, 2024; surrounded by her loving family during her last days. She was born on May 20,1944, in Wisconsin where she resided with her parents, brother, and sister. Cristine attended the University of Wisconsin- Platteville, where she studied art.
While attending college, Cris met the love of her life, Bill. Struck by his kindness and their shared love of the arts, the two married and spent the past sixty years encouraging and supporting one another in their shared passion for art. They later moved to Nebraska where they raised their two sons.
Family was important to Cristine, and she devoted each day to loving and caring for her husband, children, daughter-in-law, four grandsons, and extended family. Cris cared about family and friends, and she showed them by frequent expressions of love and random acts of kindness. She established unique family traditions that made each holiday memorable.
Cristine worked in the public school’s art department and in the classroom. She shared her artistic eye by working in an Art Studio. Cris’ interests included gardening, sewing, reading, cooking, painting, woodworking, and other creative projects.
She will be missed and forever in our hearts!
