Dale A. Hollibaugh

Dale A. Hollibaugh of Omaha, Nebraska was born on July 4, 1954, in Sidney, Nebraska, to Dale and Phyllis Hollibaugh. He went to his heavenly home on September 6, 2021, in Omaha, NE.
Dale grew up in Lexington, Nebraska and moved to Sumner where he graduated from Sumner High School in 1972. He attended Kearney State College and graduated with his degree in 1976. Dale taught high school math and physics for 4 ½ years. He worked as the Office Manager for Robertson’s Furniture in Grand Island, Nebraska. Dale worked for numerous cooperatives in Nebraska, Kansas, and Iowa for most of his career and up until his death.
His passion in life were his family, work, Husker football, the Green Bay Packers, baseball, Saturday morning cartoons, and food. Dale loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Leslie Hollibaugh; son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren: Josh, Sylvia, Jackson, and Kinsey Hollibaugh; son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren: Josiah, Megan, Olivia, Brianna, Hudson, and Ethan Hollibaugh and Nicholas; daughter, Sarah Dee Hollibaugh; mother, Phyllis Hollibaugh; siblings: Cathy, Chris, Bob, and Mike. He was preceded in death by grandparents; father, Dale L. Hollibaugh; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jacob and Naomi Hothem.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 15th from 10am to 11am at the West Center Chapel, followed by CELEBRATION OF LIFE at 11am. Interment in Overton, Nebraska. The family requests that everyone wear a mask. Memorials will be directed by the family.

So saddened to hear the news of your loss. I always remember the fun we had working together. He had a great sense of humor, which came in handy while working with Diana and me, in the furniture store. Sometimes our antics would have Dale shaking his head, but he was always smiling. His good nature and kindness towards will be missed.
