Prayers of comfort for Dale’s surviving nieces and nephews and surviving classmates in Fremont High School Class of 1950. It was a pleasure visiting with Dale during his time living in Shalimar Gardens. Covid-19 caused Lock Downs preventing incoming visitors for the residents. I looked forward to the time when the visits could resume. Now I ask why I didn’t visit using the phone. Dale’s beautiful smile made his eyes sparkle; his intelligence and independence was inspiring. He was very enthusiastic being able to arrange Shalimar’s Van transportation to our Friday September 27, 2019 70 Year Class Reunion at J’s Steakhouse downtown. The van didn’t operate on weekends and only the van could handle Dale’s special chair. Dale thoughtfully invited another classmate resident to share his “chariot” to the annual event for 33 classmates and 18 family members who helped make attendance possible for some. Faith assures me Dale is now home with his beloved Elaine, and his Lord and Savior.

Our hearts go out to all of you in your time of sorrow. My husband and I were both honored and blessed to
have been classmates of Dale’s at Fremont High School. We were so happy to see him last September at the 69th High School Reunion of the Class of 1950. We will all miss Dale very much and will revere the memory of our kind, gentle, courageous classmate and friend. May God’s unending love comfort you during this time of sadness.
