We will miss DJ greatly. He was a true sportsman and we saw him often at Lakeland. He was like a boy always excited to play outdoors, fish or hunt. At times it seemed he was the Pied Piper because kids followed him around to ride in his mule or fish in his boat.
DJ was a man of few words but they were all good ones. He didn’t waste time being upset or negative.
DJ’s sense of humor could surprise. He would say something completely out of character and then you’d see his slight grin that said, “I got you”.
We loved DJ. So sorry for your loss.

DJ. You were too young to leave this earth. I have so many memories from our high school days that make me laugh even today. Apparently God had other plans for you. You’ll be missed.
