Daniel A. Straus, Sr.
December 10, 1932 – December 2, 2019
Passed peacefully from this world to Eternal life to meet God. Survived by wife Laura; sons, Daniel Jr. and Ronald (Debbie), daughter, Cindy Koch (Brian); six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
PRIVATE FAMILY CELEBRATION OF LIFE: Tuesday, December 10th.
Sorry for your loss I remember when Danny and Jr. borrowed Dad’s truck to move things to my Uncle Alex’s Portage, WI River cottage and they took me along for the ride. I had some good cousins there and I had a great time with the two of them. RIP Danny
Sorry to hear that Dan passed away. I hope it wasn’t a long illness. Louie passed away Sept. 4th. He had quite a few health problems and dementia. The holidays will be hard this year for all of us, because we will miss them. My son-in-law worked with Ron at FIS and is now retired. They have been getting together once in a while for lunch. I will say some prayers for Dan and the family.
Dan will be missed. One of my best memories of Dan is him taking me for rides on the back of his motorcycle.
Laura, so sorry to hear you have lost Danny. I have so many good memories of your family living so close in Milwaukee and being able to walk to your house to visit. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I remember Dan and the family coming out to the cheese factory for visits. Our condolences to all from the Clarence and Sidonia Burmesch family.
