Daniel Frank Cupak
November 13, 1961 – July 6, 2019
On Saturday, July 6, 2019, Daniel Frank Cupak passed away at the age of 57. Dan was born on November 13, 1961 in Omaha, Nebraska to Frank and Grace (Jepsen) Cupak. In 1990, he began working for WOWT as creative services director and was promoted to director of marketing. In May of 1991 he married Ellen Bridget Cleary. They raised a daughter, Madeline, and twin sons, Harrison and Jackson. Dan had a passion for music, science and astronomy. His intellect and wit were admired by all.
Dan was preceded in death by his father, Frank Cupak, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Grace Cupak; his children: Maddie, Harry and Jack; his brother, David and two sisters, Julie Cambridge (John) and Diane Smith (Steve); nephews, Jaron Cupak and Jason Smith; niece, Leia Cambridge Brown (Mike); and many cousins.
A LIFE CELEBRATION will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 11am at Candlewood Community Church, 5051 F Street 68117. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Dan was my friend and mentor in Television Production.
I will miss him greatly
I worked with Dan at both American Heritage Cable (KTCB-17) and at WOWT. Dan was always creative and very musically diverse. My condolences to his family.
