Daniel Lincoln Frost

January 28, 1939 – October 23, 2018

Daniel Lincoln Frost, passed away on October 23, 2018, surrounded by his family.  Dan was born on January 28, 1939 to Charles and Ilean Frost.  He graduated from Tech High School and UNO.  He spent two years in the Navy.  Dan owned and operated Frost Car Care Center, as well as working for Walker Tire until retiring.  He was an avid golfer, with three holes-in-one, and enjoyed years of skiing, boating and outdoor adventures.

He is survived by his partner, Sharon Rowe; three daughters: Julie (TJ) Stilmock, Wendy (Gabe) Padilla, and Jody (Dave) Janousek; four grandchildren, Trent and Nicole Stilmock, James and Mark Janousek; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: Jack Frost, Patty Miske, Charlene Toland, and Kirk Frost.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 26th from 4pm to 6pm at the West Center Chapel, followed by CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE at 6pm.  In lieu of flowers, please send any memorials to The American Cancer Society.

    You have been blessed by having this strong, lovely, funny man in your lives. He will continue to be with all of you through the remainder of yours. I’m so thankful that because of his love, I have been able to know the warmest Frosts ever! Love to all of you….Kiki

    To All…My Most Sincere Condolences from Arizona. I truly wish I could be there with you all to properly show my true feelings that I had for Dan and all of you. We were Friends for many years and I thought of him often. We had some Great Times as well as stories that I would love to have shared…Some..maybe..not so much ! (Kidding)..     Dan was truly a fantastic man and surely will be missed by many. He was such an avid golfer, I remember him taking me golfing on January 2nd…in Nebraska, with snow and ice on the course, I lost, but won by knowing him.
