Diane and family, We are so very sorry for your loss. Dan was a great man who loved his family and friends. I am going to miss talking Huskers with my loyal teacher friend. It helps to know Dan was a man of faith who is now in a comforting place. Our prayers are with your whole family during this hard time. Ken & Denise Petersen and family

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I loved teaching with Dan and know he is with his Lord. May all the wonderful memories you made together help you to smile during the coming days.

Diane my heart is troubled and sadness has overcome me as I never got to really talk to him like I wanted at Debbie’s House that time we gathered in Omaha. I wanted so bad to make contact but I couldn’t get numbers from any where to call until now from Mark Koesters and I hope I can call some time if I may. I will never forget my brother Dan as he was always uplifting and encouraging in the Lord. I just wanted to chat with everyone about our Journeys with the Lord and where we are with God and still do. I miss you both as we are family. God’s Peace be with you and may God’s wings of comfort be with you in your quiet time together. May you you be surrounded by love and family at this time and may the strength of God be with you. Your brother in Christ Jon Mark (Montes).
