Daniel R. Sinnott

November 3, 1935 – October 10, 2024

 

Daniel was preceded in death by father, Frank Sinnott; and mother, Mary Sanger Sinnott Sempek. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Shirley; sister, Carol Heafey; Family; and many friends.

After serving 8 years in the Navy, Dan went to work at Union Pacific Railroad. He worked at the railroad for 43 years. He retired from Union Pacific in 1999.

He enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling, horse races, Nebraska football, playing cards and having a good time.

He will be missed by many.

    Shirley, I am so sorry for your loss, my memory of Dan was when he would come in and get a haircut and tell me he’s got no money and that we would have to put it on Shirley‘s bill and then he said oh wait, I found some🥰see you soon.

    Dan will be missed by many that work with him at Union Pacific. I work with Dan 31 years, and we did have some good Times both at work and off work.

    Shirley, we are so sorry about Dan. We will never forget all the wonderful times we shared at the river — especially Halloween parties and dinners on your cabin porch. Sending our love.
