My condolences to Dan’s family. I knew Dan at South High. He sat behind me in freshman geometry and helped me get through sophomore chemistry. Dan was great fun to talk to, introduced me to many areas of pop culture I knew nothing about, including the Beatles, and always seemed to understand where I was coming from. Dan’s performances in many of the school plays are so vivid in my memory. I fondly remember many lunches spent with him during my senior year. I have thought about Dan often over the years and am so sorry that his life has ended so soon.

    Nagy Family,

I grew up going to ICC and remember alter-boying with Dan and attended South with him. You and your family are in my thoughts.

    Much love,
    Chip Nielsen

I met Dan at PayPal and was so happy to have met him. He was so kind, witty and smart. Loved being in his team and getting to know him more each day. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dan left a positive impact on the world. I can only hope I have the same lasting effect as he did on this world. Dan made me smile, and he will continue to make me smile.
