Preceded in death by parents, Albert and Clara Phillips; brother, Albert Phillips; sister, Nancy Kraus. Survived by wife, Nancy Phillips; children: Dawn Helms, Marc Phillips, and Eve Ambrose (Jon); stepchildren, Kim Grage (Brad) and Kristine Hysten; brothers: Dennis Phillips (Jeanette), David Phillips (Cathy), Donald Phillips (Terri), and John Phillips (Kelli); seven grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Feb. 15th, 5pm to 7pm, with VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm at the Bel Air Chapel. SERVICES Thursday, Feb. 16th, 9:15am, Bel Air Chapel to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church for MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL at 10am. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Friendship Program or Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Danny Charles Phillips passed away on February 10, 2017 at the age of 64. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska in 1952. He graduated from Central High School in 1970 and worked as a lineman for the telephone company. After his retirement from Qwest in 2002, he enjoyed his work with The Friendship Program, providing transportation for senior and disabled members of the Omaha community. He was also a skilled guitar player and was an active participant in the local music scene for almost fifty years. He was a faithful husband, a devoted father and grandfather, and a loyal friend.

We are holding our nieces and nephew in prayer. Hugs to the Phillips family. Danny played at our wedding, a good memory.
Don: So Saddened to learn about Danny’s passing. Enjoyed playing some gigs with him (and you) in the late 80s and early 90s. The memories through the music are sweet. Blessings… Marty Shafer
