Danny Leroy Lewis

Danny Leroy Lewis

April 18, 1967 – January 13, 2022

Danny Leroy Lewis was a father of three wonderful children who were the light of his life.  He enjoyed Husker football, hunting and fishing, and the dirtiest jokes you can think of.  Danny was a man who could light up a room, or clear one with the volume of his snoring!  He was a hard worker who brought out the best in others.

Danny would like us to remember his humor, compassion, and genuine kindness.  He will continue to be loved by his mother, sisters, children, and anyone who was touched by his loving spirit.

TIME OF SHARING: Sunday, January 16th from 2pm to 4 pm at West Center Chapel.

Danny, you will always be one of my best and closest friends since I moved to Omaha. I considered you my big brother and you’ll always be in my heart. Love ya buddy.

Dan will always be in my memories of growing up with Zach, Kala, and Jake. I’ll always remember how he had a joke for any situation, right off the top of his head. I see a lot of Dan in the kids, and that means that he will live on through them, with their humor and friendly banter. Rest easy Dan The Man.

Rest In Peace cousin. I remember the fun times we had in Iowa. I remember Dan, Pam and Laurie growing up and fighting over who would be the lucky one to sit on the washing machine to keep it from walking across the floor. Aunt Sheila had her hands full with these 3 fun loving kids. Lenny and I enjoyed visiting with everyone on our trips back from Michigan. Love and Peace, Lenny and Sherry.

Sheila, Pam, Laurie and family. Sending our deepest sympathies and condolences. We loved Danny very very much. He will truly be missed. When he entered a room it lit up.
