August 26, 1929 – March 15, 2024

Preceded in death by husband, Robert, son, William and great-grandson, Cody Bates.

Survived by children, Richard (Beth), Susan Tworek (Norman), Robert (Erlina), Shari Olsson (Michael) and David (Lisa); grandchildren, Trisha Bates, Tara Goodlett (Tim), Haley Green, Jennifer Ryan (Will), Justen Healy, Jack Olsson, Parker Olsson, Conor Healy and Chloe Healy; and nine great-grandchildren.

Darlene was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. She was one of ten children and was married in 1951 to Robert Healy. Together, they raised their six children and she was very proud of her Irish heritage. She loved Notre Dame Fighting Irish football and Frank Sinatra. She was a devout Catholic and prayed frequently to her friend Saint Jude.

Darlene and her lively sense of humor will be sorely missed. The world will be missing a great lady but heaven has gained a great soul. Services will be held at Heafey-Hoffmann-Dworak-Cutler.

Memorials can be made to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

VISITATION: Wednesday, March 20th from 10am to 11am at the West Center Chapel, followed by FUNERAL SERVICE at 11am.  Interment, Calvary Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  To view a live stream of the service, please visit www.heafeyheafey.com and click the “View Live Cast” button at the top of the home page.

    I will always cherish the wonderful memories I have of Darlene. She was truly a beautiful person inside and out. My condolences to the Healy Family. ❤️

    Our family will not be the same without Grandma. I miss our nighttime phone conversations. You’ll always be in my heart!

    Our deepest heartfelt sympathy . Darlene was a wonderful woman and mother. My mother (Mary Healy) always spoke very fondly of her. God bless her and keep her and all of the family. Love and hugs to all, Donna
