To Darrell’s family,
I remember the time that Darrell’s brother in law recommended him for a job with Sapp Bros. We settled on terms of employment and he can to on board and continued to show up early for over 30ish years I Believe.
Being as an avid golfer as Darrell was had it’s risks! Bernie Raiter, Josh Broz, Darrell and I were enjoying a refreshingdrink on the west patio of the old Tiburon club house. All at once, Bernie yelled “look out” and a golf cart hit the back of my chair, through me across the table, where I hit Darrell, picking him up threw us about 20 feet into an open doorway. He ended up face up. with me squarely on top of him with the golf cart still running on top os us. Had to scare the “Ship High In Transit”, a/k/a S>H<I.T out of both of us.
I have always enjoyed his and his families friendship through the years.
May the Lord give you comfort and strength, with wonderful memories.

Just thinking about you and Aunt Linda today – thank you for being the steady support and the reasonable conversation you shared with me when we had the chance to talk. You were a man of few words, but always had a minute if I had a question. I love you so much!!!
