May 12, 1927 – August 13, 2018

Preceded in death by wife, Rachel; parents, Hoyt and Emma (Beirow) Lower; sister, Donna Rae Lower; brother, Burdell Lower; daughter, Paula (Lower) Drell.  Survived by children: Jeff Lower (Vicky), Tim Lower, Sue Knobbe (Glen), and Brenda Burkey (Eric); grandchildren: Jonathan Lower and wife, Eliza and children, Trinity and Teegan, Taylor Lower, Miranda (Knobbe) Stagemeyer and husband, Cody, Jared Knobbe, Darin Knobbe, Lauren Burkey, Austin Burkey, Logan Burkey, David Anderson, and Joseph Anderson; two great-grandchildren and a third on the way; sister, Lorraine Johnson; nieces and nephews.  Also survived by wife, Dorothy and her children, Nancy Anderson and Chuck Anderson (Stacey) and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 17th from 6pm to 8pm at the West Center Chapel.  FUNERAL: Saturday, August 18th at 9:30am at Lutheran Church of the Master, 2617 S. 114th St.  Interment, Forest Lawn. Memorials will be directed by the family.

    It has been a long time since we said goodbye as neighbors in Leawood West.. saw you several times after that when we visited your area.. I do know that GOD has called another angel home.. You are now at peace.. ALL my best to the family and know that the Lord is always with you, ,, always .. Hello Dorothy..
