Daryn Paul Sopinski was an accomplished welder, incredible artist, mechanic, and talented with everything construction related—he could do it all!  Daryn was a handyman who could fix anything with his hands, determination, and warm smile. More than once, Daryn would fix a mower or car that others had long ago given up on.

Daryn loved his grandparents and family and was proud of his Polish heritage.  St. Stan’s festival, Grandpa Paul’s garden, Grandma Jenny’s cooking, and pierogis were part of his soul.  Our family “experts” called his pierogis the best!

Yamaha dirt bikes, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, trucks, fast cars, pet snakes, and fun were also part of his life.  Creeks, bonfires, forts and fireworks were his childhood.  Daryn also cherished his time in Colorado and Florida with his lifelong friend Bebo, racing across the terrain on dirt bikes.  He loved the mountains, but not the cold.

Daryn was a free spirit whose infectious laugh is something all of us will remember him by.  Humor and a smile were always present, as were his hundreds of friends from South Omaha.  We will hear his laugh forever.

Dad, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, friend, he meant so much to us all.  May God provide him peace and comfort.
