Carol, Mary Jo and I were quite surprised and very saddened to here about Dave’s illness and eventual passing. He was a great teammate on the field and on the court and a good friend to an out of towner when our schools reorganized. I cannot remember a time when Dave ever had a negative attitude about anything and always carried a smile with him. But the greatest thing about Dave is that he was a man of God. God Bless you and your family in this time of sorrow and may His spirit be a comfort to you all.
Our sympathy to David’s family. Many good memories of his visits to the farm.

Dear Carol: My sincere sympathy to you and your family. I always looked up to David and to you as we do to those in the upper classes in school. David had a wonderful smile and a warm and great sense of humor.
Memory is a wonderful gift and please remember the good days and thanks be for his faith and the gift of eternal life in Jesus.
Best wishes Roger J. Hill
Carol, Doug, Jeff and families – we were so saddened to hear of the passing of Dave. Over the years we have lost touch with you and do want you know that you have not been forgotten. We have many fond memories of Dave through the bank and our church here in O’Neill. We will also remember Dave and his “PIPE” at the bank – loved the aroma and he looked so distinguished! May God grant you comfort in knowing Dave is with his Lord and may God enclose you in His loving arms, wipe away your tears, and be your source of love and comfort in the days ahead. God bless you all. Friends – Dick and Janet Grosch
Carol and Family – my deepest sympathy to all of you. Dave was a good friend and an awesome co-worker. I’ve missed him since his retirement. God Bless You All.
I’m so sorry to hear about David’s death. My prayers are with all of you during this sad time. I still remember the times he came to the farm. He was very kind and caring to me and made me feel special.
