March 2, 1955 – April 13, 2019
Founded Omaha’s wine shop, The Winery. Loving husband, proud father, doting grandfather, dedicated brother and brother-in-law, and loyal friend. Survived by wife, Ellen Marie; children: Jamie Frederick (Justin), Jeff (Alisha), Kevin (Fallyne), and Patrick; grandchildren: Clara, Will, Ellie, Chaz, JB, Camden, and Addi Jo; brothers, Larry (Charlene) and Jim (Kathleen); sister, Carolyn Allen; other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 16th from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at Mary Our Queen Catholic Church, 3405 S. 118th St., followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 6:30pm. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Wednesday, April 17th at 11am, Mary Our Queen Church. Private Family Interment, Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Omaha’s Ronald McDonald House and Spirit Catholic Radio.

Ellen, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Dave will be greatly missed by so many people. His shared passion for wine brought joy to so many others. I want to imagine that he and Rick are together busy toasting to a great life.
I remember Dave with great fondness from working at the Winery. Til we all meet again RIP Dave
