David Keith Glover, a devoted husband, loving father, and doting grandfather, passed away on November 24, 2023. Dave was born on August 16, 1953, in Miller, SD, and moved to the family farm in Burke, SD, in 1957. He shared 49 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Judy. His devotion to his family was evident in his love for his children, Matt, Katie, and Allison. His pride and joy extended to his grandchildren, Katlyn, Aiden, Owen, Max, Iyla, and Christian, who brought immeasurable happiness to his life.
Dave received his Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from SDSU and his Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and Community Planning from NDSU. Professionally, Dave made a lasting mark as a long time hospital administrator for Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, NE. He went on to work as the Clinic Administrator at Family Practice Associates until his retirement in 2019. During his career, his leadership would play a pivotal role in establishing the Flight for Life program, and later the Nebraska Telehealth Network. Dave also served on the Kearney Public Schools Board for 28 years, contributing to the betterment of education for generations to come. He leaves behind a legacy that reflects his hard work and dedication to the community and the advancement of quality healthcare in central Nebraska.
Dave held a deep love for music, often attending concerts with his family and friends. He was an avid Husker football fan and enjoyed attending games when he could. His sharp mind excelled at trivia, and his interest in genealogy reflected his appreciation for heritage and roots. Traveling held a special place in his heart, allowing him to explore and create memories with loved ones.
He is survived by his wife, Judy (Graesser) Glover, his children: Matt (Amanda), Katie (Aaron), and Allison, as well as six grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Tom (Peg), Deb, Marsha (John), Gary (Dawn), Stephanie (James), Dillon, and Seth; along with numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jon Harvey Glover and Lois (Alley) Glover, his brother, Jon Glover; sister Arlene Hazel Glover, and brothers-in-law John Kienke, Bill Graesser, and Butch Leibel.
A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 2, at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Christian Church, 10100 Cedar Island Rd, Bellevue, NE offering an opportunity for family and friends to honor his memory, share stories, and rejoice in a life fully lived.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Jon Glover Memorial Scholarship Foundation.

My heart is sad to hear the news of Dave’s passing. A great high school friend. I have so many stories running through my mind. I’m glad he can be at rest. May God be with you all.
I am so very sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. I have many memories of working with Dave during my time as an educator in Kearney. He has left a legacy to be admired and celebrated.

My heart is with the Glover family. David was an almost big brother as I was growing up and spending a lot of time at their house. I will always remember him as kind and fair except when playing Risk. I pray for comfort and peace for you all.
