I just heard the news. I’m so sorry. My condolences to the whole family & friends. I was looking forward
to talking NFL football this fall. I always enjoyed his emails and our talks on all kinds of subjects.
He’s just a great guy and made work easier to take just by talking with him. I’ll miss him..

Karen, You and the family are in my thoughts and prayers and I am so sorry to hear about Dave’s passing. When I first joined Burroughs and moved to Omaha, Dave was like a second father to me and I have always thought of him that way. He will be missed greatly by all that knew him. May there be a Firebird in heaven waiting for him.

Aw Jeez, I just finished reading another one of David’s cut up comments a few hours ago. We loved His sense of humor (lots of Ha Has per message). We had a number of years, during and after his stint at NET, with viewing the world through the eyes of David Delanie. He was one of the few staff people who did not attract negatives comments there at work, helpful and upbeat all the way to his long term hospital stay over a decade ago. Geno and I will miss our mental adjustment time with David at our Cracker Barrel haunt. Keep ’em flying David!
