David Lloyd Linberg

David Lloyd Linberg

January 9, 1937 – February 25, 2022

David Lloyd Linberg was born in Vail, Iowa to Herman and Viola Linberg.  He enlisted in the US Marines on July 13, 1955, and was discharged on July 13, 1963, as a Sergeant.

David received a degree in Business Administration that he used in his employment at Mercy Hospital, Lutheran Hospital and Nebraska Furniture Mart.

David and Bonnie married and brought together a blended family which included three daughters and one son.  From this union they were blessed with ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

David was involved at All Saints Episcopal Church and All Saint Men’s Group as well as many organizations including Marine Corp League, American Legion, Numismatics Association, and Mid-West Tool Collectors Association and held a showing at the Durham Museum,

David loved his family and the time spent with them.  He enjoyed time spent with friends, reading, and all aspects of nature.

Preceded in death by parents, Herman and Viola; sister, Marilyn.  Survived by wife, Bonnie; three daughters; one son; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Saturday, March 19th at 2pm at All Saints Episcopal Church, 9302 Blondo Street.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project or All Saints Episcopal Church.

    My sincere condolences….We are related to Howard “Howdy” and Grace Lindberg from Vail, Iowa. John is my cousin.
