Preceded in death by wife, Mary B. (Poulson) Larson, Ph.D.; parents, Dorothy and Herman Larson.  Survived by children: Angelynn McGee, Barry Larson (Tina), and Jay Larson (Liz); stepchildren: Judy Veatch (Matt), Susie Burket (Dennis), William Mitchell (Heike Tammen); ten grandchildren; significant other and companion, Rita Hogue; sister, Ruth Petersen (Jim); mother of his children, Judith Pleas.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, Nov. 26th from 5pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel.  SERVICES Monday, Nov. 27th at 11am at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 2444 No. Broadway in Council Bluffs, IA.  Graveside Service on Monday at 2pm at Blair, Nebraska Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to Emanuel Lutheran Church.

David Lynn Larson, age 76, passed away peacefully on November 21st at the Josie Harper Residence-Hospice House after battling pulmonary fibrosis complicated with a recent surgery.

David was born in Stromsburg, Nebraska, the Swedish capital of Nebraska.  Since then, he resided in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and in Omaha and Blair, Nebraska.  Dave graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and attended Luther College and University of Nebraska-Omaha.

He spent most of his working career being self-employed as a Little Debbie Distributor.  David also worked as a TSA Security Agent in his retirement years.

David enjoyed fishing and had the opportunity to fish on many lakes throughout the Midwest, including trips to Lake Michigan and trout fishing in Colorado and Wyoming.  He also traveled to Canada for several spectacular fishing trips on multiple lakes.
